Day 17: Winning Team & Learning Team

Perhaps you have set a very aggressive timeline or goal for that big project. Often, we like to stretch ourselves with something just beyond our reach.
Our organizational Scorecard, shows everyone where we stand. Green. Yellow. Red. -- with comments explaining why.
Team 1 has all Green projects, top to bottom. Team 2 has a mix of Yellows, Reds and a few Greens.
Which team is the Winner? Which team made more progress: Team 1 or 2?
When we have a clear victory, let's make sure everyone knows and we celebrate. But, what about projects marked other than Green? Can we win there too? The answer depends on what we are learning from the experience. Are we pausing long-enough to harvest insights from challenging projects? Both teams are needed for a thriving organization -- one that celebrates with equal excitement -- the Winning team AND the Learning team.
