Day 28: Write a Thank You Note

When was the last time you received a personal, handwritten thank you note from your supervisor?

A few years ago, one of our clients started writing 3-5 personal thank you notes to their team members noting something small but important. Did it make a difference to the team?

One day, as we were walking through the office, we kept noticing how many of the team members had posted these notes in their office areas. We were surprised that simple thank you notes would be so valued.

The value came not only from the handwritten nature of the notes -- but more importantly in the noticing our team members acting in accordance with our values.
