Day 4: Identify Unique Abilities
Have you ever been working on a project, so interesting or challenging, that you lost track of time? Before you knew it, hours have passed by. And do you have tasks or projects that you put off, finding ANYTHING else to do, until the very last moment prior to the deadline? Work life includes both extremes and everything in between. Team members bring unique perspectives, talents and life experiences to work every day. And yet, our assignments often are limited to our roles.
Discovering and exercising your team member's Unique Abilities fuels their purpose and innovation, helping them bring their best to work. And while we all have things to do we don't prefer, the goal is to spend increasing parts of our day in our Zone, our Flow. As a leader, mentor, coach -- this is our mission.
