Day 9: Begin in Gratitude

A favorite way to begin each meeting is what we call, "GO BIG"! Let's face it -- some people wear their badge of multi-tasking with great honor. And often we're coming from another meeting, conversation or deadline when we arrive at our next meeting.
GO BIG creates a buffer, some space, between what we just left -- and invites us to be present here and now -- in this room with our teammates.
What is GO BIG?
BIG stands for "Begin In Gratitude".
When we pause, reflect and share something we are grateful for -- it sets a positive tone for our time together. Within trusting teams, we begin to learn more about our teammates and what's on their hearts and minds. And most importantly -- it allows us to leave whatever we just did behind -- and to FOCUS on the WHY, WHAT and WHO of THIS meeting (see day 8).
