The key action here is to brainstorm indicators of success for your priority projects. Begin with your already-defined compelling "why," and then list three to five present-tense, observable markers. Ensure these are within the control of the person responsible for the task and structure them to build upon each other. 

Incorporating Success Into Your Process 

To maximize impact, pair your "what" statements with the compelling "why" and share them with the team members responsible for the project. Engage with them to confirm their comprehension, alignment, and agreement. If needed, encourage them to articulate the "why" and the "what" in their own words, refining any phrasing for greater impact. 

Use this framework as your accountability and alignment document, becoming a cornerstone of your team's progress.
